This spectacular outdoor bathroom will leave you dreaming of serenity in the outback.

In the heart of the remote Kimberley region in Western Australia’s far north is a special place of nature and luxury. This outdoor bathroom is one of three that are a part of self-contained suites at El Questro Homestead. Completely surrounded by rugged wilderness, the verandah and outdoor shower are extensions of the ensuite and, although outdoors, are completely private.

“It was important to provide a sense of seclusion,” says the project's designer, architect Tain Patterson of Troppo Architects. “We also wanted to take advantage of the unique site overlooking the Chamberlain River.
